These treats take about 10 minutes to prepare -- and our dogs love them!

Doggie Cheese Crisps



1 cup whole wheat or rye flour

cup corn or soy flour

1/4 cup brewer's yeast

1/8 tsp bone meal

1/3 cup water

3 tbls oil or lard

cup grated cheese

corn meal

Directions:

Tip:

I often roll out the dough for the second time directly onto the cookie sheet and then use a pizza cutter to cut into small squares [tiny ones for those little JRT mouths]. Then bake. When done, I just re-break into pre-cut squares and put into an air tight container.

Tip:

For a dryer, crisper biscuit, allow to sit in the oven for several hours [or overnight], then store in an air tight container.
